Hi, I am Rebecca Sutton, I am John's lovely wife and main supporter. I was born in California, but was raised in beautiful Colorado. I visited my grandparents each summer until my early teens. At first I rode the train into Hays, Kansas, but later traveled by bus. The bus dropped me off right at the front door of my grandparents' greenhouse. I learned to love plants, flowers, and dirt at a very young age. I even had the opportunity to create floral arrangements, which usually sold the same day that they were made. I moved to New Jersey in my senior year and graduated from a rural high school there in 1973.

I have a son, Dale, from a previous marriage who is in his 20's. I attended Barnes Business College in Denver and graduated in 1991 with a 2.92 average. I have a colorful work background. I have worked as a warehouse person, bank teller, office manager, real estate agent, and even truck driver hauling goods across the United States. I also worked for a period of time as an instructor for a transit company in Denver, Colorado. I have many computer and office skills, and extensive work experience with document control. My formal business training, and maintaining the household budget has well equipped me for today's demanding work place. Today I garden and supply much of the summer vegetables that we eat.

Due to John's health, and in an effort to gain some support, I took over ownership and the business side of The Cooking Inn. I am learning much along the way. Although I have knowledge of HTML editing and can work my way around the website, keeping up with what John has built up can be a challenge.

It's been an interesting summer. I am working 2 part-time jobs and juggling tasks at home. It is our hope that with the 2 jobs we will be able to have enough money to help support The Inn. As John has mentioned, we spend at least $100 a month on The Inn. That may not seem like much, but with John's health and the growing medical bills, it can break us. I am still in real estate, so if you're planning to move to Colorado drop me a line. I can help you in Pueblo and the surrounding area or I can find you a great real estate agent.
