This is a sauce that is available in grocery stores nationwide. The most popular brand used to be Pace's Picante. This is the homemade version.
1 Garlic Clove, crushed
3 Chile Jalapenos
1/2 tsp Ground Comino
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 (15 ounce) can Diced Tomatoes, drained
Combine garlic, cumin, salt, jalapenos and juice from the tomatoes in a blender and blend for about half a minute on high. Add the drained tomatoes and blend on low a few seconds to achieve to your preferred consistency (not pureed).
