| For 121 years CF&I was the driving force behind the development of Pueblo, Colorado, and the shaping of the entire American West. Explore here the history of steel making, mining the natural resources for steel, heavy industry in the West, and the many lives touched by the largest steel mill west of the Mississippi River. Directions: I25 exit 97A (Central Ave.). Left on E. Abriendo for 3 blocks, then left into our parking lot. Museum is in the building at the far end of the lot next to the Interstate. Museum Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday (Closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
