Ok my English hounds since I don't like to use what is common, I put this section Roughen It together by adapting the word Rough. To be honest when most people are out camping they are doing something they normally don't do and some have a harder time with it then others.
Rough: To live without the customary comforts or conveniences; endure rugged conditions.
Plan all your events ahead of time. Make sure you are prepared. Always let someone know where you are going, what route you are taking. If you are only taking electronic devices, take a solar charger and a backup communication device. A real compass and real maps wouldn't hurt, the ability to know how to read a comapass and to correctly read a map would be ideal.
