With the advent of the Internet and with so much information that is available on CD one would think that the future of the local library would be at stake.

The good news is that your local library won't be going anywhere. However with budget cuts most libraries are feeling the pinch. Hours and days have been cut back and volunteers are always needed.

Many good and helpful programs can be found through your local Library. The Cooking Inn uses the local Pueblo, CO libraries for research, and also movies. We can't possibly have all the information in the world that deals with cooking, so we use the library for additional research. The library is also a good place to get video's, DVD's and CD's.

The library is a good place to catch up on recent events. Nowadays most libraries are equipped with computers so you can browse the Internet, do a book report, and so on. Also, you can make copies of things at your library.

So, what are you waiting for? There is always something going on down at the library. Get out there and enjoy it! Who knows, you may even meet an interesting person or two.

The InfoZone news museum was created to promote learning about newspapers, the history of Pueblo and the freedom of speech and press.
Special interactive programs and events for all ages about issues regarding media: past, present and future will be showcased regularly in the InfoZone news museum.

The Infozone also shows a documentary on Pueblo which visitors will find very useful.
